I Have Cat is a wildly successful blog created by Tamar Arslanian. She began her blog as a way to chronicle her life as a 30-something NYC singleton looking for love despite the complication of owning cat (s) . The name of her blog was a response to the way people spoke of single women of a certain age with cat(s). In hushed tones and never in mixed company. “Oh, did you hear? She has shingles,” “She has…cats!”
Tamar has written articles for People Pets, the New York Daily News, Catster, Pets 360, and World’s Best Cat Litter.
She was NOT an animal lover growing up. In fact, she was afraid of animals. Thanks to an ex-boyfriend who introduced her to his two cats, she fell in love with them and became a cat advocate, educator, blogger and owner of three of her own cats.
Join Susanne as she and Tamar laugh through the experiences of cats in the family and learn some new things if you aren’t familiar with cats and why cats often get a bad rap.
