Do you know how to talk about the ‘tough stuff’ with your kids? The life-and-death-rubber-meets-the-road stuff?
TapFest rides again, this time down in Mexico when we re-visit Deborah Miller, our favorite EFT practitioner in Oaxaca. We’ve convinced her to take a break from her pediatric oncology work there, where she teaches seriously ill children, families and staff to “tap” into a better life experience, no matter what the circumstances. Deborah has a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology, although her scientific smarts are on equal footing with the passion and intuition she brings to the emotional trauma rollercoaster of pediatric illnesses.
Also an expert in the art of EFT, Deborah combines energy work with her medical expertise, to the delight of all who’ve had the good fortune to meet her. Since 2007 she’s been volunteering in the children’s cancer care, showing children, parents, nurses and staff how to reduce stress, fear, anxiety, pain and improve their mental and emotional health while in the hospital setting. Deborah’s style is warm and winning, steady and quietly courageous; you can hear her smile right through the phone.
TappingStar founders and coHosts Jondi Whitis and Sue Tarlton are pleased to take you on a repeat visit to Deborah’s world. They’ll be talking about her latest work, as well as how we can empower ourselves and our kids to deal with serious illness, in themselves and in others. How many times have you scratched your head wondering how to tell your children about the tough stuff, like Cancer? Deborah’s experience in dealing with children, their families and friends allow for a rich discourse in how we can make a life more abundant – for you, your children, and all their school friends around them, too. Don’t miss this opportunity to talk about the tough stuff before you need it!
