I KNOW you don’t want to do it! Neither do I. Hey, this is gonna be a fun, experimental class. We’re gonna do a whole lot of tapping on all our thoughts and feeling around exercise and moving our bodies. EFT Practitioner, JoAnn SkyWatcher will be joining us to share her story of how she used EFT for exercise motivation. I think you will be surprised at how easy it is for exercise to be become a natural part of your life without you even trying to make it happen…simply by tapping on your resistance to it. So, no pressure here…we’re just going to have fun and see what happens when we apply EFT, this powerful personal performance tool, to exercise motivation. Listen and tap along and you will get the benefits! To find out more about JoAnn, visit her website http://wayhealthy.us

Is there a part of you that is lazy or too busy too exercise and yet there is another part of you that wants to exercise? This is a tap along show with lots of humor. Be ready to move your body after you get done tapping.
This isn’t about making a big commitment to exercising, just getting whatever resistance is in the way to moving your body NOW. You don’t have to join a club or put on exercise clothes.
Join in the FUN! Yes, this show was fun, and I think you will feel like moving your body after you listen to it. Be sure and tap along to get full benefit.

Very popular topic!
Goes along well with all those things that EFT is especially effective for (procrastination, or motivation of any sort). The next time we do this topic I’d like to have a whole group of volunteers to tap along on the live show and create a party atmosphere. JoAnn and I are both fans of the tapping method where you tap while you complain, moan, whine – getting out all your “yeah but…” excuses. Lots of fun to do!
Hello ,
I just listened to my 1st tapping session from your podcasts on iTunes. The session from Feb. 25, 2009 wi JoAnn Skywatcher on exercising.
My initial resistance was 8 – after the 1st round, it was down to a 4 and then by the time all the rounds were finished, I was down to a 1. I was itching to get up and move my body, do some movement. I had all this energy going through me. I felt wonderful and began to do some strength resistance – something new that I hadn’t done before.
I intend to listen to this tapping session several times and knowing that it’s there for me is absolutely wonderful.
It’s also inspirational hearing other people’s reasons for not exercising – sometimes it gets expressed in ways I hadn’t thought about or realized that was holding me back as well.
I was curious about something though – during the 1st round when I was tapping under the eye & stating that a reason for not consistently exercising was that it was lonely. I started to cry (well, sob, really). On the 2nd round of tapping under the eye, the emotions were still prevalent, but not nearly as strong. After the last round, I felt lighter emotionally – all from tapping for exercise? My question is – are there particular tapping areas that trigger emotional hurt or pain? Example, my trigger was under the eye -> loneliness.
I’m going to listen to the session for ‘Moving up the emotional scale’ to see if that has any resonance for dealing with lonliness & being OK with being alone. Since this was a really strong reaction, would you see this as the next logical reason for tapping? also, can you tap for too many reasons during the same period of time?
Thanks for giving everyone an opportunity to heal and feel good about
themselves.

Hi Paulette,
So glad you shared your experience!
I love how EFT works! You start with some strong resistance, do some tapping and bring the resistance down, do some more tapping…and then you can’t wait to get out there and move your body!
As to tapping points and emotional correlations Karen Nauman wrote a blog post about this.

I would be curious to know how your tapping went with “Moving up the Emotional Scale”. That was one of my very early recordings and I don’t think I did any live tapping sessions in it…but it has some guidance.
Aloha,
Eleanore
