Learn how the ancient Inca harnessed the evolutionary power of divine light that resides in all of us to access higher levels within your being for healing, guidance and
In the modern West, the picture we have of the Incas tends to be of a conquering empire vanquished by the Spanish. The truth is that they had – and their descendants still have – ancient shamanic wisdom practices that connect people to higher dimensions of reality.
A little-known fact is that Inca rulers were selected by the degree of luminous radiance they could emit from their bodies. They would use special hampicamayoq breathing techniques that led to the amplification and emanation of their luminous body, creating a glow that the aspirant could see reflected in the gold panels lining the walls of the Qorikancha, their most sacrosanct temple in Cusco.
Far more than a parlor trick, this practice was about spiritual awakening and becoming suffused with the higher radiance of the soul, which led to the embodiment of one’s divinity and an ability to transmit luminous presence and wisdom out into the world. This inspired people to remember themselves as Intichurikuna, Children of the Sun, giving them access to greater life force. They called this ritual “Awakening the Shining One,” because it allowed for the activation and shamanic healing use of one’s Light Body.
In Light of the Incas, you’ll discover more about this unique practice from world-renowned Universal Shaman don Oscar Miro-Quesada. He’ll talk about the relevance of this ancient ritual for the modern world and what it means to be a Child of the Sun, an initiate of solar consciousness.
This work is valuable for finding your “luminous direction” – literally the path of greatest light and wisdom – in the midst of shadowy, challenging conditions. This path is all about you bringing more loving kindness to the world through the awakening of your illumined Self, which naturally expresses unlimited love and compassion.
don Oscar will show you how you can create a sacred marriage between the light and unadulterated love at the core of your being. You’ll discover shamanic practices for invoking light energy, animating evolutionary essence and enhancing your vital life force. And you’ll understand more about the application of these healing energies for the harmonization of spirit, heart, mind, body and soul.
You’ll get a taste of ancient teachings about your internal fire, which when properly evoked and brought forth ritually, leads to the alchemical transmutation of lower, instinctual, reactive modes of being, into higher, intentional and responsive right action in the world. Learning to ignite the inner spark of your soul allows you to tap the intelligence of the spiritual light within you, empowering your path of healing service with more grace, attunement and discernment.
For millennia, shamans have cultivated ritual tools and techniques for healing our bodies physically and spiritually, all the while forming alliances of sacred reciprocity with the natural world. Like don Oscar, many traditional elders describe these practices as our Original Instructions. As humans, our choosing to live in accordance with these universally bequeathed Original Instructions is essential for our species-wide survival.
These practices and skills are not something reserved for an elite few, but potentially available to us all with the right guidance.
During this online event, don Oscar Miro-Quesada will share practical wisdom on shamanic techniques from his Peruvian lineage of Kamasqa Curanderismo, which is artfully designed to restore balance in our lives and the world as a whole.
You’ll discover how to:
