Meet Grandmother Margaret Behan
Grandmother Margaret is one of the 13 Grandmothers and she will talk to us about the coming year, 2012, what is behind the 2012 predictions, the actions we can do to raise our vibration to help our planet Earth thrive.
Grandmother Margaret Behan,“Red Spider Women” , healer, author, poet, playwright, artist, traditional Cheyenne dancer, and fifth generation of the Sand Creek Massacre survivors; born into the Cheyenne Beaver Clan on her mother’s side, and the Rabbit Lodge on her father’s Cheyenne/Arapaho side.
Grandmother Margaret is one of the 13 indigenous Grandmothers traveling the world for peace, representing a global alliance of prayer, education and healing for our Mother Earth, all Her inhabitants, all the children, and for the next seven generations to come.
Grandmother Margaret will not only speak to us about her personal journey, her healing work with trauma and substance abuse, but also about the Council of 13 Grandmothers, how it manifested, and the effects they’ve had using prayer and ceremony. “We are deeply concerned with the unprecedented destruction of our Mother Earth and the destruction of indigenous ways of life. We believe the teachings of our ancestors will light our way through an uncertain future.”
